There are many beautiful qualities that Lucy Hsu possesses. But the most beautiful quality is this – her heart for those in need. She cooked a turkey for the family but chose to save some for the homeless so that they could have some warm fresh food to eat.

I drove all around Austin handing out the food to people. Two great stories and one life threatening one. Let me start with the life threatening one:

1. Had to cross a couple of lanes on foot to hand a meal to a guy and almost got hit by a car. I had to jump over the railing and almost slid down onto the freeway.

2. Met two guys named Clive and Dexter. When they saw me hand over two meals they graciously gave back one of the meals. Clive said there was an elderly person a block down who also needed food. I drove down and saw the woman with her dog. She was so touched to receive warm food, especially since she didn’t receive any on Christmas Day.

3. Met another guy and gave him a meal. He handed me $5. I said I can’t take this. He said for me to use it to bless somebody else. Feeling guilty I walked for a few blocks and then started talking with another guy. He asked me if I had some coins to help him get a bus ticket to Waco. I asked him how much and he said $4.50. I handed him the $5 and he just started sobbing. He wanted to see his mother for Christmas but he didn’t have the bus fare. He said I was an angel of God. I told him it wasn’t me but another person used by God to bless him.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. Hope it blesses you!
