When previously doing homeless ministry, I’ve had a focus on gospel-sharing rather than learning each person’s full story. Meeting Ramone and following his journey from his home at 9th and San Marcos to CUB on a Sunday morning helped me to not only empathize better but also gave me very concrete things to pray about for him. He faithfully attends Church Under the Bridge – which gives me more opportunities to continue connecting with him!
